Hexapolis is free to download on the App Store and Google Play. It shows ads and offers optional in-app purchases. ### What kind of game is Hexapolis? A turn-based 4X strategy game on a hex map: explore, expand, exploit and exterminate. You grow a single village into a kingdom, capture villages and enemy cities, build farms, mines and castles, research technologies and fight rival factions. ### Which devices can I play Hexapolis on? iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, Android phones and tablets through Google Play, and Windows PCs through Google Play Games. ### How does a turn work? Each unit can move once per turn. You move and attack with your units, capture villages by standing on them for a turn, spend coins on buildings and new units, pick research, then tap End Turn and your rivals take theirs. ### How do you win a level? Capture the enemy cities. Neutral villages and enemy cities are taken the same way, by keeping a unit on them for a turn. ### What factions are in Hexapolis? Four: Humans, Elves, Orcs and Undead, each with its own eight or nine units and its own heroes. Neutral creatures such as bears, harpies, the Kraken and Moby-Dick roam the map too. ### Who are the heroes? Hexapolis has 14 heroes with their own abilities, including King Arthur, Solmyr Spellbinder, Satoshi Greenblade, Kragor Twinaxe, the dragon Caraxos Firestorm and the vampire Vladimir Bloodshade. ### How many levels are there? The campaign has 60 worlds with 10 levels each on Normal, and the same 60 worlds again on Hard. Quick Match, Survival and limited-time events come on top. ### What is hard mode? Hard mode replays the campaign worlds with every enemy in alliance against you. It unlocks as you complete worlds on Normal. ### Can I make my own maps? Yes. The map editor lets you paint your own hex board, play it, and publish it so other players can search for it and download it. Premium editor features unlock after the first world. ### How is Hexapolis different from Civilization or Polytopia? It is built from separate levels across 60 worlds instead of one long game. It has four fantasy factions with named heroes, a 600-level campaign plus a hard mode, and a map editor for sharing your own boards. ### What is the age rating? Everyone 10+ on Google Play and 9+ on the App Store. ### Which languages does Hexapolis support? 19 languages in the game, including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Traditional), Hindi and Vietnamese. ### Who makes Hexapolis?
